I spent yesterday at the local music festival. I saw Charlie there but didn't get to spend as much time with him as he liked. The first thing he said to me was about how he needed to put his DJ equipment somewhere and we started watching a band and a whole group of his friends showed up. I did speed networking for the first time tonight; it's like speed dating, only rather than trying to get yourself someone to go out with, you network with other professionals for three minutes and then one person moves on.
